All elastic will come un-knotted so that you can place the knot to your desired fit. You can also cut the elastic in half if you prefer the behind the ear style(flat elastic or soft elastic suggested for behind the ear modification).

The photos show these masks on an average-sized woman with a 22-23 inch head and 12-inch neck. There is available adjustment to both larger and smaller. If you wear a larger hat size, have a larger neck, or both, you will probably want to order the longer shock cord option (XL shock cord).

Cordura is a heavy-duty Nylon fabric and is more rigid than most materials. This helps the mask keep its shape and last longer through cleanings but if you would prefer a softer material, there are cotton blend options available for some patterns. **If you are wearing the mask for longer periods of time a cotton blend is suggested for comfort** Cordura is a less breathable material, if you will be wearing the mask for longer periods of time, the cotton blend is highly recommended.
