Many of our products include once-fired recycled brass. The casings have been cleaned to remove any powder residue that may have been left behind. They have been polished to a shine but with use will develop a nice vintage patina. Each piece has been handcrafted and has unique characteristics. Due to the varying quality and characteristics of the brass, your bullet may have subtle differences than those in the photographs used in the listing. Some of these variations may include blemishes, the head stamps, or any other unique markings. If you prefer the shine over the patina you simply need to wipe with a small amount of brass or jewelry cleaner.

Please remember that if your unique piece of Buffalo Brass contains parts of a used bullet it will not be permitted with your carry-on luggage while traveling and should not be taken to your school campus. To travel with your Buffalo Brass please put in your checked luggage to ensure there is no issue.

Please keep in mind that many of our items are "made to order"! I know some people aren't used to ordering things that are made per order, and due to the nature of this, are also not used to having to wait a little bit longer for their new goodies to arrive. We do keep a small stock of some things, but usually, the item you order is made after you order it. Most of our products take more than a day or two to make as there are parts that have to set. Due to this, it may take up to 5 business days (as seen in our shipping info) before some items ships. But it almost always takes at least 3 days. We ship everything USPS and on average after it has been picked up it takes 3-4 weekdays to arrive at its destination during regular shipping times. In some cases this may take longer, sometimes it is just USPS being slow but holidays can, and usually will, cause a longer delivery time. So I ask you to please take this into consideration, have patience, and remember that you are getting an item made special just for you : )

To keep shipping as low as possible we do not include tracking or insurance. This is something that per our policies has to be arranged prior to ordering as it causes shipping to increase.
